AirX Testing Services has run air-emissions source tests across California since 1995. We are hiring an operations associate to support our growing team across customer relationships, scheduling, invoicing, and marketing.
What you'll do
- Be the first point of contact for our customers: answer calls and emails, keep facilities informed from scheduling through the final report, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
- Schedule our field crews and test vans, confirm dates with customers, and keep the calendar accurate as jobs move.
- Prepare and send client invoices, track what is outstanding, and follow up on payment.
- Run our marketing: keep the website and LinkedIn current, send customer updates, and help put together proposals and materials.
- Support business development: research prospects, prepare outreach, and keep track of leads.
- Keep the office running: supplies, vendors, records and the day-to-day details a small team depends on.
What we're looking for
- Two or more years in an office management, operations or customer-facing administrative role.
- Clear, professional writing and phone manner; you are comfortable being the voice of the company with plant managers and environmental staff.
- Organized and dependable; you keep multiple schedules, invoices and follow-ups straight without being reminded.
- Interested in AI software and quick to pick up new tools.
- Able to work in our Oxnard office, Monday through Friday.

- Experience at an environmental, industrial or field-services company.
